ASSESSING YOUR ELIGIBILITY

General Skilled Migration applications are initially assessed on a points total taking into account:
• Age (18-44)
• English language ability
• Nominated skilled occupation
• Specific work experience or qualification

Not everyone is eligible to apply for skilled migration. The Australian government has strict legislation to control migration to Australia. All visas are issued at the discretion of the Australian government.
Having a spouse/partner, fiancé or child may make you eligible for Family migration but not for a Skilled Migration visa.
